all high paying jobs indirectly means higher risk before you get the job/when you have the job (instability), bad hours or high stress, etc

at the end of the day, it all depends whether your personality suits this particular job or it will make you happy

I'm an ASIC/FPGA design engineer with 10+ years of international experience .. the report here says that the Electronics engineer gets ($4,615) .. but on what experience basis ? .. and how much can I get, say, if I will work at Infineon Technologies in Singapore ?

There's no point in being jealous like everbody noticed because if you cannot afford the fast cars, girls, cash .. then don't afford it...

until you can afford it when u have earned a level of salary and comfort.. like me.

If i have to, I will give everbody noticed a whiff of my exhaust smoke from my smoking white Maserati GranTurismo S..

This is median salary - you may get more or less but not beyond 6k. The work farm out to local operations are not cutting edge. Also, truth is there are tens of thousuands of chip design engineers in china who are highly qualified. They are very hungry and can work at half of this median salary.
