I applied for 7 different roles in all. One job is now shown as "not shortlisted" - easy to understand. For one job each, the status are "shortlisted" and "processed". Noone has contacted me yet. "shortlisted" I can understand but what is "processed"? Does a company process an application first or shortlist it first? For 4 roles, my status is shows as "new". I presume this is no-brainer.
Anyone who knows the whole story, please let me know.

processed means your application is received and being reviewed by the company. Only then the company will decide whether to shortlist or not according to the pool of candidates.
