Puzzled on HR reply

Hi all, I have a question. Recently I have applied for a job. I have went through interviews. I received an email from the HR regarding the status of the application. They state 'regret to inform you that your application has not been successful at this moment.'

What does this mean? At this moment?

It means u did not get the job.. go interview doesnt mean u get the job.. i also went tons of interview but most were not successful

What I don't understand is why state 'at this moment'? Why not just say not successful?

Means they rejected your candidate. Ignore the words "at this moment". Nothing in life is final, hence such guarded words. Good luck with other interviews.

It means 2 things.

(1) You did not get the job.

(2) The HR person has poor writing skills.

Ya polite way of rejecting and the HR tries to be smart by using vague words
