Questions regarding after interview
I myself am a jobseeker. Recently went for some interviews. However, there was no much news. Would like to ask any of you here few qns.
1) How long would you receive offers/results/shortlist of 2nd interview after the 1st interview taking place?
2)How long would you start following up if you did not receive any results?
3) If you notice another job position in the same organization that appeal to you, would you apply straight after the interview, or wait till a certain period/ failed result before you start applying again? Will applying other positions would affect the hiring decision?

1) If you really stand a good chance, you will usually get a call within ONE WEEK after the interview. If after two weeks still no news, just safely assume its a no go and move on.
2) Just like nowadays "ONLY SHORTLISTED PEOPLE WILL GET NOTIFIED". If they never call you, just do not bother with any follow ups. You are not selected.
3) Apply for any position that you are interested even from within the same organization. It is really an open market right now. Do not wait because they will not wait for you.
