Advise pls - Solutions manager

Hello all,

I need advise. I will b offered a role as a solutions manager (web marketing). This role requires me to manage a team of offshore web/software developers to develop web content for product launches, events etc. It's a degree level position with 3 yrs experience required and knowledge in software development and project management.

I am an IT graduate with 5 yrs experience in this role and 9 years total in IT. How much should I ask for? Don't want to put the hiring managers off by asking too much but dont wanna get shortchanged also. Sincere advice needed.

I was paid around 6.5K 9 years ago for a solution
Mgr role with 7 yrs experience (but it was for telco order management ). These days i'm guessing around 7.5K
