Thanks!

Thanks for replying! So that means I'll get the 13th month + avc, but the amount will be pro-rated.

I was worried that I won't get avc.

it's quite silly to see so many dumb questions asked by civil servants.. and even dumber ans given..

why waste time predicting bonus? what differences does it make? and u expect solid prediction on this forum?

and if u have any questions related to your salary, why not ask your hr directly for clear ans instead of posting here when high chances of getting false info. and if ur hr told u sth, it is 99% true. why bother questioning and seeking advice here?

no wonder civil servants are getting a bad name...

Whats wrong with asking. it doesnt reflect well on you by asking ur hr dept about things like this especially if you just joined the ministry for half a year, what i heard are from my friends, i am just asking if there are people here who have experienced this before to advise, whats wrong with you ? if you dunno the answer, then just keep quiet, you dont have to insult others

just to give some light on a few things as i saw some questions posted,

1. for those who have worked less than a year, you sld receive the bonus be on a pro rated scale based on this: y/12 x approved bonus. e.g. u worked 6 mths in that calender yr and announced bonus is 1 mth aws + 1 mth avc. therefore 6/12 x 2mths.

2. based on experience, for those people who intends to resign after getting your yr end bonus, you are expected to stay till 31 Jan 14 in order to retain this bonus. (pls correct me if im wrong).

3. no one can be sure of the avs for now. but as mentioned, based on MTI forecast, the growth is good. however, we cannot expect too high as well. 2012 MYB was 0.5 and 2013 was 0.4. thus, govt can be more conservative and announce an amt for abt 0.5-0.75 avc 2013. but if MTI reports that Q4 2013 is doing very well, then the cs can expect to receive more in 2014, depending on your ministry, as diff ministry may have diff remuneration scheme.

just my 2 cents.

Last year 2012 civil get 0.3 (July ) + 0.7( Dec) + 1 AWS = 2 month

This year 2013 is 0.4 (July) + 0.8- 1( Dec) + 1 AWS = 2.2 - 2.4 mth

Most likely will be 2 month include AWS expect to be announced on 21 ,22 or 28 Nov
