Anyone got jobs from linked in before?
Has anyone had any success?
I had some messages and calls out of the blue but they never progressed beyond the asking for your real cv stage.

Ditto. Only if you fit their bill, if not they won't bother to pursue further.

Nope.
How much information do you post? I am worried that my company HR might be screening the site as well.

Linkedin = mailing list
Spammers harvest CVs from linkedin and sell the list to recruit agencies. I get a few junk mails everyday requesting for CV

so what if they're screening the sites?
It is the reality in today's world to be continually gravitating towards doing meaningful jobs that contribute to a meaningful career. Whether they want to admit it or not, I bet even CEOs and top level directors have that aim.
I put everything I can in my profile, because recruiters tend to search for keywords.
Anyway my organization's biggest bosses have profiles on linked in themselves.

U don’t talk big & push your luck too far when u have zero market value - cannot even get 1 job offer after looking for 5 years.
At least NEA give u a job, HR can trace u in 10min if they want to. wait kana warning letter for bitching NEA online & writing profile looking for job during work, then u really nowhere to hid ur miserable face.
