Just curious and would like to ask the more experienced or long-time officers...

If the economy in 2025 has been perceived to be positive and good year-end bonus issued, will any subsequent increments i.e. annual increment, promotion increment for 2026 be increased as well? Has this happened before?

Annual increment is based on merit, hence it is often referred to as merit increment instead.

Merit increment is generally perceived to be less transparent for the computation. It takes into account your performance grade, where you are in the salary range relative to peers, and the economy. If two persons everything same, except their current salary, the one with the lower salary may receive a higher merit increment in % terms.

PB is a big pie allocated to each agency.

Then depends on how the agency slice the pie if revenue was good and got a big pie.

Can be quantum increase for all, Bs and above get rewarded more, more Bs than usual

But we don't even know if this year PB pie is bigger, and definitely won't know how your agency wants to slice it
