Are these job offer terms weird?

Context: 1 year of experience switching job (technical role)
Industry: Tech

Key terms in new offer:
- 80/20 compensation package
--- 80% base pay (No AWS while my current company has)
--- 20% variable bonus (0-3 months based on own/company performance) - curr company none
- 6 months probation (current company: 3 months)
- 3 months notice period (current company: 2 months)

My expected base salary got bumped down by around 10% to this 80/20 thing. However, it still result in roughly 20% base pay increase if I switch job.

3 months notice??? WHAT?

that's a HUGE red-flag.

I'm so curious. I've never heard of 3 month probation at any US tech company. Not even Chinese tech companies do 3 months and they're known to be insane with their work culture.

Supposedly involved in project with external vendors and need time to handover to new people. High turnover also.
