Can send a fake salary slip to a new employer
I have been interviewed and got selected for a new job opportunity. However, during the interview, they asked about my current package and then I lied about it. Now since I have been selected, they are asking me to send my salary slips. So I was thinking about doing a quick edit and fake my current employer's salary slip and send it to them.
Will this be illegal or will there be any problem if I do this?

Yes, it is illegal. Not just in terms of your contract with the firm but a criminal act.

this is very serious. either tell the truth or say you have been given another offer that you are considering and then tell them later that you changed your mind

If you thought you could get away with lying about your salary, then sorry to say you don't have the brains for the role. Just do others a favour and turn down the job for someone more deserving pls.

agree, I don't want someone who is dishonest. you don't deserve the job. if they ask for your cpf statement, you are gone.
