What are my chances of making it to INSEAD and getting a job in Singapore?

Hi,

I am of Indian origin, done my Masters in Accounting and Finance in Australia, followed by a CPA. I am 31+, am working in a bank for the last 3 years after working at two of the "big four" firms. My salary has been stagnant for the last two years (a little less than 100000 SGD pa). I've seven years work experience in Singapore.

I've applied for PR in Singapore and been rejected thrice.

I have applied to INSEAD Singapore for the January 2015 batch.

I don't want to work in consulting after graduation if I make it to INSEAD (too much drudgery) but I plan to work in Singapore only.

I will be 32+ when I join INSEAD, if I make it.

What are my chances of making it to INSEAD and landing a better job and salary in Singapore if I do make it?

i don't know why you are so obsessed with INSEAD. Getting an MBA does not guarantee you a better paying job. You are going to take awhile to earn back your school fees.

so what do you really want to do? Accountant? Or Management? or Finance? Your seven years of experience should be enough for you to go into management without a MBA>

How do you hope to do if you complete your MBA?
