Will the demotion in rank but increment in pay have a positive or negative impact on my career?
Anyone can advise? thanks in advance.

In JP, the title of associate title is either 601 or 602 job grade. The next grade would be 603, Vice President.
Hence you can regard an associate in JP as an AVP equivalent in local banks like DBS. Title wouldn't have an impact on your career. In Singapore, every single HR I've met just looks at last drawn.

Hi I’m currently in the same boat as you. Did you get the offer eventually?

Should be around 3 - one with the hiring manager, if there is interest to go further then another round with peers of the hiring manager, if an offer is being considered then final one with the manager of the hiring manager.
Obviously there may be slight differences based on hiring department.

There are plenty sample interview questions on Glassdoor. From there you may have some idea what they looking for. Look also on LinkedIn the experience of people they hire. Why you sound like you expect spoonfeeding

Nothing to do with angry. Some suggestions were given to you right?
Your question is so broad and vague, which department are you thinking of joining? Tech? Risk? Banking? Front, middle, back office? What role is the opening you saw, AVP, SVP?
Different roles require different skills, no different from other banks. No details, how to advise?
