Ya, I was offered by Maybank HR: Wee Lee. I just completed my traineeship as a trader and a lot of other trainees, except for one got offered 3.4k (previously he worked construction 4 years), all of us at got offered 3.3k no negotiation. Negotiation only bonus and contract length. In fact out of maybe 30+ trainees, only 3-4 got offered.

My ex boss in Maybank (before I left last month) even told me by right I should have applied for normal analyst role (start pay also 3.3k) rather than the traineeship because I more than qualified for it. Strangely, out of 40-60 trainees, 0, ZERO got converted midway through the traineeship - we were all quite close due to working together and several orientations and group activities held together and only towards the end, less than 5-10.

Simple google will show you that Maybank at most offer their analysts 3.3-4k, 4k is with at least 3-5 years experience (FYI).

If you have 3-5 years experience, just go DBS. They at least will pay you 5k.

usually depends on your corporate title. whats urs? and how many yrs of exp u have?

As if DBS will auto accept you.....there are plane loads of <insert race> who are, at least on paper, "better qualified" and "more experienced" than you vying for the job with hiring managers from their same village. What are your chances?

I have 2 years YOE.

I saw the title propose is Junior Java Developer, hence I would believe it would be analyst ?

If anyone have any ideas on how many months bonus, please do share as well as the working culture.

Not too sure whether am I being underpaid, as I know companies like Tiktok can easily match this 9k offer.
