Please lar, you people here really know how to tua pao xian. All say easily net worth got at least 500k to 1+million before 40 years old. My toes are laughing lar. If you say you mid 30s @ 35 years old, for guys only work around 10 years after graduation, come & talk cock you got 500k in cash stocks property!? You need to save minimum 50k per year nia, I think most of you don’t even have take home pay of 50k per year after working 10 years

And dun need to come up with the usual BS of being a market wizard or property flipper. This kind I hear everyday from people who during lunch claim they financial tyco, then after lunch go back tio gan by boss just to make that miserable 4k per month -__-

Haha nice one. But unfortunately you are the one who gets laughed at eventually. You should stick to EDMW.

Well at least it's 3a and not 3b, based on the following protocol created by someone in the thread "How much are you earning per annum?"

Step 3 - EITHER:

a. criticise the post which offended you and claim that the poster is lying. Depending on amount of free time, engage in flame war

OR

b. create own ******** post with an outrageously high fantasy salary to piss other people off.

Step 4 - 'Rebel' by posting outrageously low salary to make political statement about the plight of the poor in Singapore.

Wow how did you manage to get a commercial property at 300K?

Mine (honest truth)

Age: 31(me)/28(wife)

Cash: 25K
Stocks: 50K
Condo: Worth 900K (loan left 500K)
Condo: Worth 1.1 M (loan left 800K)

Easy to save for down payment before start of cool down measures. I save around 50K every year ever since graduation.

You another super tua kang one. To save 50k once you graduate means 4.2k per month, add back another $900 on CPF and that means you need to make 5.1k on your first job even if you don't spend a single cent.

Even if I assume you some super saver who save 70% of your salary on your first year of work, it will mean that your first year job after graduation is $7300 per month! Thanks for the laughs...
