Ad Agencies
Just curious: How much can one expect to earn after, say, 4-5 years in a big name ad/media agency? Roughly how much does an associate director (~ at least 6 years) make?

I'm not aware of any big agencies where one can be an associate director with just 6 years experience. Sounds like hyper inflated titles some micro firms use to make a junior associate sound important during client meeting.

I believe JWT does. Do a search on LinkedIn and you will know.

Your info outdated already, now it's the same everywhere. It used to be only ikan bilis agencies anyhow giving titles, but nowadays almost everyone in the industry is doing it regardless big or small. It is common to see "senior managers" 2 years leaving school and everyone is "associate director" and "director".
But that does not change the fact these are mostly jr execs esp when they join the client side. A director will become manager or even assistant manager upon joining a prominent client co.
