Join CS cannot be so hard up for money lah. In that case might as well remain in private sector.

your current package is around 140k pa.. it is already pegged to a high mx11a pay package.
you will only get 10 to 15% increment if you join CS as mx10

btw, it is possible. we recently recruited a VP from UOB bank in as mx10

I’ve just left the private sector to join ministry as mx12 AD post drawing 4.6k+. Just have A’levels, private dip and 10 years working experience with 4 years in supervisory role. Female. Not sure if this is a good offer as I’m drawing about the same in the private sector. But due to covid, my prev company wasn’t doing so well so I applied for this post. So yeah just to share for anyone thinking of joining CS and comparing the salary offers.

How come so low.
I thought fresh grad already earning like 5 to 6k with no work experience

Well am not a grad. Just sharing for those who hold private certs and comparing salary in CS. I know my colleagues earning way more than what I have.

Not in the civil/public service except for a few agencies + specific roles
