Agree. Female HO only $3.5k a month, work 16 to 36 hour days in the ward. Get shouted at by patients. At times, no time for even a drink of water or for food. And people keep thinking doctors are rich. Maybe only those in Mt E or Aesthetics are.

During emplacement, there’s increment? Or is that just the annual increment which all employees are getting?

Like our yearly increment is April right (or was it July)? Then if my emplacement is in June, will I get another increment?

You won't get an increment in April. But you should get one upon emplacement.

Thereafter, your subsequent increment will be on April the following year.

I can't comment much since I'm still in my first year. But based on my understanding (and reading previous posts), fresh grads typically start off as MX13 and promote to MX12 the following year. Subsequently, your promotion would depend on your performance, emplacement etc.

Depends on your performance too - some folks take 2-3 years to get to MX12
