Anybody worked in Far East Organization?

Hi All,

I'm a HR Executive who saw an opening for the HR department. I'm interested to apply and meet to minimum qualifications stated in the job ad. I would like to ask if there are any current or ex employees who have worked in the HR department who could give me some comments?

It is a big organization and I think the prospects should be quite good. However I am a little worried as I have heard not so positive remarks about the company in terms of culture and employee development. Could anybody advise pls?

my company is working as an independent consultant for FEO. let's just say from my limited interactions with them i find that they aren't the nicest client.

pardon me but what is far east org doing exactly?

i saw they have alot of job postings everytime, high turnover rate?

Typical local style of running things. Recently the younger towkays start throwing money to hire big name MNC managers/directors. They come in make big changes cause havoc & high turnover and then get bored because FEO is still very much run like small family biz and move on.

If you are going in as a small fry, better avoid. I had 3 bosses in 11 mths there and things keep changing as the MNC managers dun stay long. Every new manager come in talk big and then go off after a while. Old birds also try to play politics because they dun want to change and just dump all the new work to newbies.

far east org is in charged of malls, properties or what?

They treat their bankers very well tho! They always send us new year hampers, christmas hampers and also free F1 tickets lol. They also organize classy dinners with wine pairings etc. Certainty no expenses saved when negotiating with their banks!

I heard from my friend previously working for FEO that the benefit at FEO is not good and most of the time require to work OT.

Go to Glassdoor.com (Far East Organization Reviews | Glassdoor) and read the threads. Especially the IT dept., not sure how they run the show. Totally blinds leading the blinds.
