But there are many girls out there who believe in true love and lower their expectations. So don't rule out. If you do find someone like this, treasure her well..
You are obviously just another money minded person lying to yourself about ambitions and such to make yourself feel better.

Being ambitous or career minded has nothing to do with a person's income. These are related to character traits, not money.

Go figure about caregivers and people who climb mount everest as an example.

in singapore, ambitious = wanting to make money.

in other countries, ambitious can mean a whole more things.

5k is pretty low for your age, but then people who make 10-12k at your age really work very hard, at least 12hrs per day. So it really depends on what your lifestyle is lor.

what class of honours are you getting?
you working in engineering or financial sector?
how many years of exp since fresh grad?

how you manage to hit i assume 4.7k basic in such a short period of time?

4.7k basic is very slow, if he left school at 24 or 25 he would have 4-5 exp already. Average performer will at least reach manager already.

let say a male complete his university at age 25, then by age 29-30, he would have 4-5 years of exp.

Assume he got
2nd lower engineering degree NTU
have serve NS

So how much should he be earning after 4-5 years of engineering exp?

how much basic/mth
how much salary/annum

????
