is my civil service pay progression fast/slow/normal?

I applied for another job in the same organization, different division again.. the 4th time I'm doing this. The 3rd time was 4 weeks ago and as usual I never even heard from HR. It seems like even internally the work I do in my branch has zero value, so other branches don't even want me.

How does one get noticed and noted for potential advancement or transfer, if the nature of your work is meaningless grasscutting admin, and when you tell your boss you can do much more and your strength has always been in content development (ie writing scientific journal articles, publications, infographics, annual reports, etc.), he gives you all the "thank you for your feedback, we will look into your complaint" email replies to proofread?

I have been at MX12 junior executive level for 5 years already and I am going nowhere.. I don't even see any advancement by end of this year by continuing to do grasscutting admin, while my peers from back in school are becoming assistant directors or MX10 already.

What's usually the time period for promotion to a MX10 grade / Assistant Director grade say if you start out fresh? Also, what is the estimated annual package for one in that grade?

My friend joined a ministry 3 years ago at senior executive level, and he's now assistant director. He's 2 years younger than me. I'm 2 years older and a junior executive in a stat board. Both of us have to date around 8 years working experience - we left school in 2003.

with 3 years+ of exp in GLC engineering industry, i apply job in ministry

just got an offer MX12, 3.7k from a ministry, 2nd lower with NS..

am I under paid.

If someone join the ministry straight from fresh grad, 2nd lower with NS since 2007 july, how much should he be earning by now in the same ministry, and what MX grade? what should be the salary assume he 'C' grader throughout all years?

my god.
today i realized that i'm really doing an entry level fresh graduate position after working 8 years. My earlier thoughts that it is just an exaggerated job title have been confirmed.

that's why no employer wants me.

I need help on crafting a cv to make meaningless work experience sound valuable. Can anyone offer help n this?

I have an opposite scenario from bro miwashi here. Am 31 and in the finance (operations) industry.. same job for 6 yrs.. started at 1.6k as poly grad. Got my p/t deg a yr back and
now drawing abt 4.2k.

Getting very sick of current job and have always like outdoors and nature stuff.. should i try NParks? Some nature outreach or conservation post.. am I in for a paycut?
