Is it still "worth" to join PS then? I have an offer from a ministry and an offer from private. Private offering about $300 more with awesome benefits but job scope is somewhat mundane and prospect seems unknown. In this case, which will be a better option to go for?

If u got commitment like house marriage kids car.
Obv money Nd private is the way to go.

But if u young. Then take the ps sector if u wanna farm and retire peacefully

not so bad la. i am in PS earning about 120k p.a at 35 year old.

nice. this is about what i draw last year.
but this year no mid, end bonus. and probably no MAC also.
so should be getting 120 only, but still decent i feel

Anyone tried negotiating the MX grade before w HR? MX11 to MX11a?

The role put out on the portal was v vaguely described and only found out the grade afterwards. Don’t feel like MX grade offered reflect my level of experience
