math fail or eyes tak stamp?

The bonuses are entirely variable. You living in what age? You never read news or just stupid? Recent bonuses have all been cut to 0, with only PBs being the remaining bastion. Even AWS is a big question mark now.

Pretty sure you are the stupid one. You want use June 2019 and December 2019 but you want to compare using this year's aws??? And just because AWS is uncertain, your "at best" means dont have?? You any how cherry pick of course only 14 months.

yeap.. anyone who say PS nowadays get only 14 mths package is either not from PS or living in his/her "specialised scheme world" where everything is front loaded

Hi everyone, does working in a MNC or bank (foreign) give better monetary returns compared to CS assuming above average (but not the top elite type) performance? Local grad here with good honours with masters.

Look, let’s look at this objectively for 2020. April PB 1.5 months, June no bonus. Year-end unlikely to have any bonus as well, and at best, can hope for AWS. 12+1+1.5 = 14.5 months max for the most people.

Most MXO fresh graduates would therefore be drawing 3.5-3.8k*14 + whatever the pro-rated amount is of 2.5 months.

the topic started with comparing MX scheme and FSO scheme.
are you saying the current economic outlook will only affect MX but not specialised scheme like FSO?

Why are you even talking about schemes which are not comparable? They have their own bonuses which are above and beyond what the rest of civil service gets

Stuck at ceiling

I will soon hit my grade's ceiling. As the environment is very competitive, I am not confident I can get a promotion soon. Just wondering if anyone here have been stuck and how long have you been stuck?

Hearsay, if u get stuck for 5 years, you will be moved up automatically. Not sure if true.
