what's the difference between MX11A and MX11? If MX11A is SM level, what is the next level and how long will it take?

I went for a second round interview with a stat board in oct. I was told they will let me know in 1 week's time. After 1 week, i contacted the HR and they said they will let me know by end of the week. It is past the end of that week. Is it safe to say I didn't get the job?

Hi guys, worked in private sector for 5 yrs
Drawing ard $4.5k per mth with 1 mth bonus
Annual is around 57k

Offered $4.4k per mth but under 1 Yr contract. (possible to convert to perm if there is headcount)
Including estimated 14.5th mth bonus, total annual $63k

Is it worth making the jump?

120k pa, base 8-9k per mth. Frankly, I’m realistic enough to not look for cs to match the pay lah, but feel like there’s too big a mismatch w what was offered now. I’m the same person who was asking about whether it’s possible to negotiate mx11 to MX11a. Now the offer is even lower than what I know to be in the mx11 band.....

Are you jumping due to the salary increase or you plan to work in CS indefinitely? Might not be worth to do it just for the slight pay raise as it is very likely you’ll have to take a pay cut when you transit back to private. If you plan to pursue your career in CS then go for it

No offence, but you don't sound like a high flyer in the private sector (unless you're on the verge of some big breakthrough), so if I were you I would take my chances in the CS. At least you will have excellent job security if you manage to convert to perm staff. All the best!

Yea no offence taken, agree that Im not a high flyer and there will not be any breakthrough anytime soon too :( The new role is a management position to manage a team of 8-10pax. I have no experience. Can't decide if should I take the risk, after all it is a contract role compared to my current perm job (my first job after grad). (Most of my colleagues have been in the same company for 10 yrs and more) 🤨
