interesting but dont you think you are as good as saying
D/E = MX13
F = MX12
G = MX11
H = MX11a
I = MX10 lower
J = MX10 upper
K = MX9

Dont forget to add the bonus component into the base to make it look higher

So there are MX, DXO, Grade and Govtech Grade?

not sure how you map govtech grade to mx.
i mapped based on pay scale.

grade H = mx11a payscale

example
govtech H = base pay (including bonus component) * 16
mx11a = base pay * 17

Then u comparing a junior grade (H) against a mid level grade (11A). In the sense a junior govtech is getting the same pay as a more senior MX (annual basis). Why is that so? Simply because GovTech pays better for specialist scheme.

If a MX11A joins GovTech he/she will be give grade I. With much higher base/ annual package.

then that will be a promotion.
then if a govtech grade I join ministry, he will be given mx11a?

since u say mx11a = grade I

this is true for some ministry that does not give MAC to engineering staff
MAC is a bonus for engineering staff (like IT) to match specialise scheme like what govtech is given.

are you from HR? or you assume the mapping based on designation?
from govtech H to ministry SAD mx11a. got a increment but ministry HR told me its a similar grade..

in case you are mapping based on designation or role instead of pay.

on general, this is how a IT designation versus other policy division within the SAME organisation
IT engineer = AM (fresh grad)
Senior engineer = M/SM (1-4yrs exp)
AM/associate consultant = AD (3-8yrs exp)
M/consultant = SAD (6-12yrs exp)
SM/senior consultant = Head
DD = D

hope this explains
