Hahah ok so I’m not alone with that thinking. Maybe he’s referring to total comp looks high due to 16mths (eg) but base is Low?

Hi, I got C+ for last year and also C+ this year for my PB. Got promoted this year from MX12 to 11. If I am not promoted this year from MX12 to 11, I will be hitting salary ceiling with my MI. Usually for cases like mine, is it because the bosses take pity on me thus promoting me despite only getting C+ grades for two years? I have a pass honour degree from NUS with 11yrs working exp (2yrs in Pvt, 2 yrs in Ministry A, 4yrs in Ministry B and 3yrs in current stat board C. Thanks

Is your work across the different ministries similar? How to change ministry if not a scholar?

Applied via career @gov as a normal candidate and moved under transfer policy

Should I choose MAS, EDB or WSG? Which one has better prospects?

Got offers from all 3

Would not consider WSG in your case, but really depends on your interest etc etc.

My personal view. MAS is more policy-inclinded while EDB is more out-reached inclined.

MAS is not an easy place to get into, and is a very competitive pressured environment. But is a very good place to grow and be developed (or rather be whacked into shape) :) Do consider MAS as your top choice, especially when given this opportunity.
