offered a job as librarian at NLB. fresh grad, female no ns. may I know what are the career prospects? where else can i go eventually?

I think librarians have poor prospects...especially when ebooks are becoming more and more popular.

That said, it's worth taking the job first if you don't have other offers.

i rcv email last friday. mac cut 50% for me. not sure is it across the board

Librarians dont just handle books. Communication ,outreach etc are also part of thr job. You can rotate to handle many aspects of work in your career

I may have a chance to work at another ministry.

Can I check, how do 1 qualify for the transfer of service from 1 ministry to another?

Do they have any condition? Because I heard that one of my colleague was actually told to resign instead of given the transfer of service to another ministry.

I do not want to lose the increment as well as PB. Lol.
