Covered for HOD yet nothing. So tired. feel like I’m being overworked for nothing.

2016 GEO 4
2021 KP appointment. B.
2022 c+
2023 B

I am so drained.

Horrible and unappreciative SLs.
Covering for HOD yet only get B for GEO 4.

Use workpal --> salary revision letters to access HRP --> click < on top left hand corner to go to HRP home page --> pay related information.

It should show the salary point and range.

Unregistered 01-04-2023 09:42 AM

It takes a while to load, mine finally popped out this morning, after a night of blank space. Pleasantly surprised by the promotion + MI increment. Was expecting lesser.

Tried this but still showed a blank page. How long does it take to load..?

Type hrp onto google. Login using singpass.
Go to pay advice and related statement.
U will see ur salary point on screen. Its not in a pdf.

Is it the “current salary point”?

Went to HRP but it’s still my current pay and salary range reflected. Anyone facing the same issue?

Yes. But the salary point already changed. So at least we know our new salary :)

Unregistered 01-04-2023 10:44 AM

With Mi I hit ceiling for geo5. I guess should be happy? Cos now can qualify for 5a. Lol

People are getting good, higher than expected MIs? Wow. GEO4 B grade, still far from ceiling, +170 only. 2.6% for a very good performance grade is considered good?

Doesn't anyone remember when the typical MI every year was about 3%? And this was with C and C+ grades.

GEO4 B grade, got 230. 3.8%. Don’t know how it works.

Unregistered 01-04-2023 11:17 AM

I’m GEO5 holding KP position with PB grade of ‘B’, got MI of 3.1%. Happy 😊

Unregistered 01-04-2023 11:20 AM

Newly promoted to GEO5, performance increment + MI 7.7%

Unregistered 01-04-2023 11:21 AM

What is the current salary range for GEO4?

Unregistered 01-04-2023 11:23 AM

Geo4 C+ here, got +163. 2.5%.

Better than covid times, but I wouldn't consider it good at all.

Unregistered 01-04-2023 11:50 AM

Increment + Promotion 9.25%
Got B grade most recently

In the page where you saw your new salary range, do u notice that your substantive grade is still GEO 4?

Unregistered 01-04-2023 12:31 PM

GEO3 B grade, increment of $229, around 4%?

Unregistered 01-04-2023 12:41 PM

newly promoted to geo 5, promotion + merit increment of 8.7%

congrats, where did you find this information?

Unregistered 01-04-2023 12:56 PM

Those who got promoted to G4 this year are empirically better off than those who got their G4 last year, due to the cap of 5% for G4 during 2023 H2's salary revision.

My colleague entered service 1 year later than me, very similar path and progression, (though I was actually ahead in terms of salary based on years in service before the revision) just attained G4 in 2023 (MI+PI close to 600). I managed to get G4 in 2022 (MI+PI <400, very close to previous G3 cap) before the revision, and now in 2023 there is less than 30 difference between us. I am now 1 year behind in terms of career, though my performance grades have been equal or better.

Yes, I know I sound like I am nitpicking or calling sour grapes, but I am just listing the facts without any emotions above.

Both of you seem to be doing well.

Seo2 is HOD/VP only though.

Exactly that’s why it’s minimum. Not everyone can
become VP

Reporting Salary Data for those who are interested.

Context: Male GEO5 KP here. KP for 5 years, and a GEO 5 for 3 years by the end of this year. Been in service since 2012.

Merit increment of 2.2%. Around $166. Probably will hit the $8250 GE05 ceiling in 3-4years if SEO 1 doesn't come before that.

Unregistered 01-04-2023 02:40 PM

GEO3 here. Got Bs the last three years. Not promoted.
MI $130, hit ceiling already.
Not going to work hard anymore till I get promoted.
