Dear All, I have a master's and bachelor's degree from the same local uni, 1st class honors, in fact i topped my graduating class. It's a humanities/language degree though, I have been working at a media company for 6 mths, easy work no stress but very pathetic pay at 3.6k per month (got 13 mth and PB but still very bad compared to civil service)

I feel that I am not doing my stellar results justice, if I join CS with my results probably can get much better package, but the problem is I don't really have much interest in them and unsure which ministry/SB to join. And no MOE please I don't wanna do teaching.

I am thinking about MCI, IWDA etc. What do you guys think?

Ministry officer here, and seconded to SB.
For both my promotions, i received promotion letters signed off by my PS.
Letters will be passed to you via your Director, so that they are aware. I only got my second letter one week late even tho it was signed on 15 Mar, likely cause ministry HR send thru SB HR...

I'm in one of the MOT stat boards with around 5 years of work experience.

- Last promoted 2017.
- Recieved "B" for work done in 2018 with a 3-month bonus.
- Promoted this year, with salary increase of 11%.

Hello everyone, just joined this forum.

I am a 2nd Upper BSc local grad, serving in one of the SBs since mid 2012. Had some decent contributions and just got a "within-grade" promotion recently which pumped me to MX12 salary ceiling.

Anyone more senior in CS/PS was in this situation and salary stagnated (no more increment)? Wondering if i should go further study haha.
