He's probably trolling. I don't think a FCH or any university graduate would even accept that. Civil service hires candidates with private degrees, in fact, where the degree is from matters much less if you are an experienced hire.

So the actual payout comes in with Apr salary?

Annual increment when announce ar?

Unregistered 26-02-2023 03:40 PM

How is the annual/merit increment like across the different ministries/SB?

I know that it is tagged to the performance grade, but are the amounts more or less similar across the different organisations?

Typically it's the scheme that matters, not the organisation

Unregistered 27-02-2023 12:19 PM

is MOE payment scheme publicly available? been trying to find out but cannot find anywhere

About 4-5% for MI
~10% for promo increment

Of course these may vary according to MX grade and performance grade

There's a range in which agencies can decide how best to allocate, based on their distribution of quotas etc. But typically it would look something like this for 11A:

B = ~3 (+/- 0.25)
C = ~2.5 (+/- 0.25)
C = ~2 (+/- 0.25)

This seems like mx 11 pb standard instead of MX11a

Unregistered 02-03-2023 06:44 PM

PB is end march? when do they announce or will they even announce what each grade gets

usually around Mar 24th, that week should be out

Unregistered 04-03-2023 12:27 PM

Usually if you have a close enough relationship with your boss, you can just ask what grade you are given (but subject to whatever quota). Your boss will likely tell you if you are a mature person enough to handle whatever the answer may be.

Unregistered 04-03-2023 01:04 PM

Do you get PB if new or have to work for a certain amount of time first?

Unregistered 04-03-2023 03:30 PM

I got 3.5 for a B, mx11 last year. Mx11a B should be more?

Is there a reason why certain places give a higher quantum for PB?

Like for MX11, one gives 2.5 for a B grade and yours gave 3.5 for a B grade. It's a heck lot of difference.

Different ministry maybe?

Unregistered 04-03-2023 11:07 PM

In an earlier post, someone mention that promotion increments are fixed amounts, as opposed to a percentage increment. About $500. Is this true for Ministries, MX schemes.

For ministries, the quantum is also dependent on the position you are ranked vis-a-vis your peers on the same substantive grade who has the same grade. For example, if 3 people got B, are you B #1 (receives the highest quantum) or B #3 (receives the lowest quantum).

When to tender resignation

Hi, am getting mixed responses in this thread as well as from other sources. Can we tender resignation before getting PB but indicate the last day of service after 30 Apr?
