Mechanical engineering grad in 2007 NTU, 2nd lower
Working in private sector (pay lousy), up to now 3.5years exp
Also thinking of jump ship to DSTA (Stat Board)

How much pay should I expect from them?
Annual salary should be how much?
Monthly basic should be how much?

i would estimate abt 3500-3600

im a 3rd class honors (yes so do cut me some slack of "oh you're just a 3rd class bah bah)
im from a local uni (fulltime)
i did ns

im gonna start work in one of the civil service line soon in IT
and my pay is 3100

can someone tell me wat are the disadvantage of a 3rd class as a civil servant?
does it mean that it will take me way longer time to be promoted?
lower yearly increment?

My basic now is in the range of $3500-$3600/mth

And with 3.5 years of exp, I am getting the same pay after jumping ship to mindef-stat board???

How much should I expect, basic/mth?, how much per year

Anyone on the HiPo programme?

I was informed the payment is made in 2 tranches each year. I am expecting my first payout this month, but the quantum was not reflected in my latest payslip. Any idea when the payment is made within the month?
