He rejected and HR told him if he choose to "quit and join" instead of transfer, they can offer him higher pay based on his years of experience and last drawn pay. The difference is huge. He was eventually offered 7.5k and join us 2 grades higher than what was initially offered to him under the "transfer" scheme.

First hand information from my colleague, he is from my team.

seems like me also, i'm mx14, joining stat board getting mx11 equivalent. they acknowledge my private degree and exp, not like the place i'm at.

Why would people want to take paycut? Work life balance? If so, how you gonna know the next public min/agency/stat will be better?

Hi, what would be the rough salary range for an average performer after 12 years at CPF? Assuming join as fresh grad.
Thanks!

Work life balance. By taking lower pay, it's easier to justify coasting at work.

I am at my late 30's, having 10 years industry experience in IT Project Management.

What is the estimated Rank and Salary range that I am looking at ? It is a DXO position, did my interview and waiting for security vetting and offer.

I am drawing about 8k+++ now, with average bonus 2-4 months depending.

If a fresh grad at GovGech is alr making $5000 per month,

(1) in 20 years' time he should be earning $20,000. Or
(2) his pay reaches $10,000 in 5 years' time and then gets saturated and remains at that level for the rest of his career?
