Not true at all.

1) MNCs give you an idea of best practices as well. Besides, look at the amount of scandals which implicate Big 4 firms.

2) Increment of 20-30% is a huge lie. Increments were/are currently frozen at some firms/depts. Even before covid, this figure of 20-30% is way too high.

If i am offered an associate role in Big 4 and an entry level role at a MNC, say doing tax, which one is better in terms of career prospect from a fresh grad with 0 exp perspective?

He means increments when you jump to other companies, aka exit opps.

If you are unable to secure a good exit deal for yourself, you can always choose to stay on in Big 4. :o

I take umbrage at your comment.

I am sure that even you do not concede to working the full 8 hours in your organization even if it is stipulated in your organization's contract. I mean, I can get you the data behind the number of hours worked vis-a-vis the number of hours doing facetime, but let me ask you this - what is the point behind your question? What's wrong with making more money?

confirm guaranteed. big4 pays way below the market rate. so when you jump out for that 20% to 30%, it is actually the rate which you should be getting all along.

This obviously wont happen in big 4. Its a race to the bottom for audit fees. Staff charging 8 hours only but working alot more at nights and during weekends.

I urge you to take a role in any of the big4 and see for yourself if this is true.
