sure, there are successful one out there. but definitely not on this forum.

so don't stoop their level when they are clearly beneath you.

Again, please seek help & be more at ease and secure with yourself. How pathetic to be lurking a private uni forum 24/7.

It is "make believe" by the way.

"Clearly beneath you" --> okay. LOL.

There are people out there who pretend to be poor and miserable when they're really rich and happy :(

I shall not name names, this one is quite obvious :(

Ok sinkingfeeling :(

Get a life, wife & most importantly a job that doesn’t entail lurking forums all day every day alright? :(

Unregistered 02-06-2020 01:30 AM

I am a fresh grad in Kaplan-Northumbria University, business assignment based, no exam degree course. I am expected to graduate with 3rd class. I have two offers, one from MNC offering $6500 another stat board offering $6400. Which should I accept? My poor friend from NUS Biz, FCH did not get such fantastic offers so there's no time to waste.

2nd upper SIM should be paid equally as local uni FCH/2nd upper. SIM degrees matter!

Hi. Not the previous poster here but just wanted to clarify. I graduated from a UK university and joined EDBI in 2017, starting pay was 3600. Don't trust inflated salaries in forums.

I don't get why SIM students are discriminated. As a SIM student myself. Yes, we didn't do well in poly. Yes, we literally "paid" to enter. But I challenge NUS students out there to try SIM-UOL past year papers and see the quality SIM has to offer.

Why don't you come and try NUS papers instead? Oh wait, you can't...

Why do you feel so threatened by private uni students?

Tbf, all these hateful comments coming in actually make me feel better about being a private uni LOL.

The very fact that local uni students/grads feel the need to stalk and lurk our forums 24/7 just to “one-up” us over the Internet is so pathetic.

This bro has a point.

Anw, let’s just all be nice to each other lah. Uni is not the be all and end all. Besides, it’s unfair to cast judgement purely based on A levels / Poly results

Private uni students, as long as you guys work hard, you will have a shot!

Unregistered 04-06-2020 08:18 AM

Uol grad here who went on to do further studies in local uni after working for a few years.

The good thing local uni has is grade moderation. I.e. even if you think you have done badly for a module, you won't fail it.

I have failed 2 papers in UOL before.

Hope that there will be more sharing from UOL graduates here.

Yes private uni students will have a shot.

They deserved to be shot by disgracing their parents and destiny to be a good for nothing throughout life!

Why do you have so much pent up anger?

Is it because of the fact that you went to a local uni and still can mistake 'have a shot' for 'getting shot'?

LOL, some local uni students really do crack me up.

Unregistered 04-06-2020 04:52 PM

So many fresh NUS graduates cant find jobs come here to disturb esteem SIM students with 5 digit starting pay, minimum...

Unregistered 04-06-2020 05:04 PM

Somehow I get the feeling that either:

1) people are too blind to realise that being triggered is exactly what the trolls feed off;
2) the people who are triggered and trolls are very much the same person posting, aim is to stir up emotions by creating divisions...

Ignorance is bliss in this case. No need for meaningless comebacks... Maybe I’ll get trolled for this post haha

only managed to get a 2nd class lower for honours. fell short of 2 marks for 2nd upper. then again i doubt that makes a difference to most employers!

btw, my course was Banking & Finance and almost 9/10 calls i get are for sales positions...anyone from B&F managed to get a job in a bank that's not sales related?

Everything is alright.. 2300 is the right number at this time. it should improve for you later as time goes..

You're correct. 2300 is 9 years ago for local uni grads. For SIM or Kaplan, it's relevant.

Meanwhile I just got onboarded by an MNC drawing 4.45k pm. UOL 2nd Upper. Start date was unabated by COVID-19
