Hi anyone able to advise emplacement and promotion?
What are the chances for emplacement after contact end?
Will there be any benefits different and any increment of pay?

asking since if March / April 21 no payout, that will mean I do not get any, assuming the next PB is following March / April 22 or other subsequent NPAA, AVC considering my contract start in start Oct 20 and end Oct 21.

for contracts 1 yr or less, you are usually not entitle to any bonus. unless u are extended.
you should check with your HR instead of asking us here.

I’m currently a perm and is offered an agency’s contract in another SB, to do things that I’ll be more interested in. Should I reject the offer, since PB is coming soon? Will this year’s PB be lower than the past, assuming no change in grading? Thanks!

Why do ppl dont think of these questions before they apply?

I always think...until I end up applying for nothing.

People always advise that you should anyhow apply first, think later when you have an offer. Probably what that op did.

Heard they will adjust the quantum for each grade so maybe there will be a cut in PB. Best of luck!

I am in the same situation too. Currently perm in a stat board and got offer from another stat board. If I resign and join the other stat board via movement policy, will my pb be forfeited or still be paid? Anyone kind to advise?

I am joining another stat-board via movement policy. Stat board B will claim my PB from stat-board A after PB announced and my probation with stat board B has completed.

Thanks for the clarification. How about VMI? I supposed it will be forfeited.

Welcome. VMI forfeited. Leave cannot carry over too.

I think it's fair, PB can carry over more important. Also, the years of service can carry over.

Ok I think fair since the leave encashment can cover the VMI for 1 year.

Hi,

I am being considered for a 1 year rolling contract with govtech in a corporate role. They mentioned no visibility on conversion.

I have 8 years working experience.

I am wondering if anyone knows whether the conversion rate is low or historical experience in them not renewing the contract.

markus 10-02-2021 09:16 PM

If i have already taken both my parent care leave this year, and i resign in March...will the leave be clawed back from my salary?

There is no difference in quantum across all GEO grades. As you can imagine, 1.5 months as a GEO5 can be substantially higher than as a GEO3.
