Unregistered 26-03-2020 08:11 PM

Mx 11 join in Jul. After pro rate, 0.5 mths, grade C. Not norm right? I used to get at least 1.85 for C at my previous place.

Unregistered 26-03-2020 10:43 PM

Bonus

LTA LTE 7, what’s grade for 4,4+ and 5?

C is standard grade for officers with less than 1 year of service. PB quantum depends on ministry and statboard.

Sigh. Life is so unfair.

Unregistered 02-04-2020 08:33 AM

i just got promoted from MX11 to MX11A. But can only see the merit increment in Pac@gov now. Anyone knows when will the promotion increment be officially reflected? I am worried that the promotion increment is taken away due to the economy downturn :(

Same here. But if you noticed, there is a notification message to congratulate you on your promotion. According to a colleague, the new pay will not be reflected so soon, from her experience.

Thanks for the reassurance. Will hope for the best! 😊

If you get promoted, on 1st April, your merit increment AND promotion increment are reflected together... Trust me, the promotion increment portion is not that much

Unregistered 03-04-2020 12:57 AM

How can you tell how much your merit and promotion increment are respectively?

If you had logged in before they updated the promotion increment, then you would have been able to see the difference.

Unregistered 04-04-2020 02:31 PM

MX10 C+ 2.9 mths

Unregistered 06-04-2020 06:55 PM

Where can you find the merit increment in pac@gov? Is it already up?

Yes. You can see your new pay in the current salary range/ scale.

JustAnotherPrimaryTeacher 08-04-2020 09:29 AM

Merit increment 5%. Am thankful already despite this current situation and already in a higher pay bracket.

Unregistered 10-04-2020 08:12 PM

hmm i dont see any MI listed in PAC@GOV but i joined less than one year. Is that normal?

Unregistered 11-04-2020 11:31 AM

Same same… I am just so glad that my MI & PB quantum is the same as previous years! But for a primary school teacher, a 5% MI seems to be very high... I know GEO3 only get around 2%+… Are you a SEO?

Same poster as #1588, MI about 550, slightly above 5%, same as previous year.

Trust me, what you said is absolutely rubbish... PI or MI varies significantly among the different scheme of service and your substantive grades. Don't think you have seen it all based on your own narrow encounter, unless you are telling me you are working in PSD that deals with such matters.

Oops... sorry, just realised that you were referring to MX11 to MX11A.

just got offered 3.9k from a SB and HR says theres no room for nego. would this be considered a fair deal?

im a 28 yrs old, no NS, did my bachelors locally and my masters overseas (both irrelevant to the role though). but i also had 3 years of (relevant) private sector experience.

thanks!

Friend, are you a degree holder? Is this your first job? Mind giving a hint on the SB you are joining? Did you get your offer before/after covid-19 outbreak?

This was back in 2017. Sorry I cant share hints as it is small SB and I might be identifiable. You will not believe my qualifications too (quite high)...why did I join then? Market was weak I was getting desperate.

I'm the same poster. It was not my first job. But they gave me fresh grad pay and rank.
