Pay cuts across the board.

There's a higher risk of corruption in civil service now.

Yes you will get ur mid year cvb in july which is likely 0.1 or nothing this yr.
You will Also get ur pb for work done in 2020 in 2021 march

You will not get any pb for this march as you did not do any work in 2019 as you only joined in 2020

The PB is meant for work done in 2019. Were you even in service in 2019?

You dun get anything.

Dec. PB is for YA 2019.

Unregistered 07-03-2020 03:56 PM

Can I know for MX 14 and MX 13, how many months of PB would one get for average performer say grade 4?

Unregistered 07-03-2020 03:58 PM

I really hope there is no delay for this year PB. I have not seen my RO for appraisal yet and also no news on PB cut so far. Anyone in stat have news on this year PB? It is based on 2019 work so I am praying hard we still can get what we deserve

Previously somewhat shared that received circular that PB will be out on 24 March. If that’s real then should be as per normal. Not all ROs will share the circular. I’ve never seen the circular in ten years. But the notice will be out usually one week after pay day.

Think Directors should be starting to communicate PB to staff this week

Unregistered 09-03-2020 05:13 PM

Is it true that it's very rare to get A? What's the typical percentage?

Unregistered 10-03-2020 11:24 PM

This mth announcement is late (just like Dec 2019).
i think should be prepared that will not enjoy the same bonus or increment as previous years. maybe can take dec 2019 as reference.

I won’t be surprised if there was no increment at all. Increment is subjected to the economy.
For pb they can just tweak with the quantum.
Should be a rough year.

Was there any year with no merit increment?

C+ = 1.75

quantum depends on grade too.

Unregistered 11-03-2020 12:53 PM

SBs are diff. Anyone who has received their letter from CS can share whats the bonus quantum for mx 12 and mx 11 c and c+ grades?

yup, don't forget how much was the december bonus. Even last year's budget isn't any good. it has just gotten worse.

C+, C, C have a quantum cut of around 0.15-0.20 months

A, B remains the same.. C- not so low lah.

C+, C are slightly lower.

Keep the high performers by taking from the lower performers.

that's kinda silly. They usually target the superscale first rather than a broad approach.

Staff at lower pay scale rely a lot on their bonuses, it will be extremely shortsighted for them to bear equal brunt of the weak economy.

Doesn't make sense to cut from the average performers while the high performers maintain lor. Bulk of the civil service will fall within C or C+.

You have insider info?

Unregistered 11-03-2020 07:12 PM

I heard new psd directive that mentioned that they are removing the subgrades for pb (b+, c+) although they still keeping them for ranking/performance purposes. I.e., you can get c+ ranking but only be allocated a c pb. Anyone can verify that this is the case?

There is no differentiation for A and B. Maybe a high B or low B.

But for C, there is C+.

Not many people fall within A and B so they keep the PB quantum high to entice people to work harder.

But these PB only applies to timescale officers. Superscale officers are taking pay cut for PB.

Not sure about your agency. For mine i've seen B+.
