Either they are smarter or work harder than normal govtechies. If anyone has a better explanation, I stand corrected.

OGP can exist because of their D.

TAP is tier 1.5
rest all tier 2

Unregistered 24-06-2022 09:25 AM

not say work harder or smarter or what, altho i admit they are good for sure. but their autonomy comes from their D

Even for deep tech specialised skills? What about "elite" teams like AIFP and ACAS

AIPF u mean? true, going by TAP/non TAP kinda breaks down when u factor in the "prestige" of certain teams. i guess theres no one size fits all way of comparing. GT is too decentralized for that.

Unregistered 24-06-2022 02:05 PM

what is the market rate (range) for a cloud/devops engineer in GT HQ?
$7k+ ?

Yup AIPF for AI, ACAS for cybersecurity. Isn't OGP pretty much for software engineering

should be standard - Fresh Grad Program (Non TAP) -> 6k base for second upper and above, 5.5 for second upper below

Tech Assoc Program (TAP) -> 7-8k base.

What about the bonus? Is the general annual TC for an average performer 15/16 months?

before aws fold in prolly ~15-16 mths, now u are looking at 13.75 - 15 months-ish depending on perf grading. if u are a fresh grad, i would advise u to look at the lower end of the TC to give u a more grounded comparison between offers.

then you consider mid level, 16% base increments not bad, haven't count bonus part as GT got corporate and individual bonus

you can try to nego with HR but doubt they will offer higher, always said this is best offer
