G6 (fresh grads) - 5%
G7 - 7%
G8 - 6.5%

Apparently senior positions receive better increment. Surprising, not sure how they justify this as it further widens the gap between lower grades and higher grades.

Also, LTA’s starting pay at G6 is still meh after this revision and compared to other mins/SB, prospective applicants may want to think twice.

G10 - 3.5%
G11 - 3%
G12 and above - 2%

What's the expected G6 pay compared to mx13?

LTA’s pay is really quite high especially if you are a civil engineering graduate 16 months package

For the average guy, will be earning 10k/month by age 33.

Assuming just a rough guess:
Year 1: 4300
Year 2 (EPE): 4800
Year 3 (EPE): 5200
Year 4 (EPE): 5700
Year 5 (SPE): 6200
Year 6 (SPE) :6400
Year 7 (SPE) :6600
Year 8 (DPM) :7200

Average guys do not go from SPE to DPM in 3 years, there are many people stuck at SPE for >6 years. It depends on vacancies and how hard you mgmt vouch for you.

Your figures are way too optimistic, I know some EPE in their 3rd year still <5k, and some newly promoted DPM <6.4k.

Your figures are more like a scholar’s progression, evident by the first four year’s high annual increment due to better ranking.

Hahah what are you smoking?? You think every year increment so high? Every year increment is about 200 or slightly less, promotion is only around 300+. Nonsensical figures

The % increment during promotion years (PJE->EPE, EPE->SPE, SPE->DPM) is about right, but the merit increment during non-promotion years is much less and not even 5%.
