MX11 (Middle Management) $4,740 to $8,305
MX12 (Management) $2,945 to $5,925
MX13 (Fresh Graduates) $3,500 to $4,000

Around 5 YOE with Private U degree but was doing own biz for 2-3 years; total around 8 YOE. Can MX10 or at least MX11a; monthly gross > 8k?

It's not just YOE that counts, but relevant YOE. Assuming all 8YOE are relevant, you can looking at 11 or 11A, but unless you are in a specialised scheme (e.g. economist, tech), I think you are looking more at between 6-7k gross.

yup, generally most deg holders retire at MX10, with a small number at 9. So at 8 relevant YOE, you are looking at MX11A at best, and MX11 if HR does not think your current experience is directly relevant

I am a 2nd Upper Class (Local Uni) non-scholar with NS.
Close to 9 YOE (joined as fresh grad in 2013) in a stat board known to have one of the highest attrition rate.
Recently promoted to equivalent of MX10 ( Deputy Director). Internal ppl ( up to DD level) keep leaving till to politics, thus giving me the hot seat/opportunity.

Am drawing 8.4K now..very silm chance of reaching equivalent MX9 (Director).
My stat board keep parachute/rotate scholars from other public sectors for Director position in my Stat board...😂

Lol, in early stage of career the PSC scholar already win him 2 years...
And the non-scholar likely to be stuck for MX10 (Deputy Director) for a long time (or forever)
The PSC scholar is earmarked to be at least Senior Director with average performance
