Interviewed at the M** ministry, tech role, interviewing panel told me likely they can only pay me dip holder pay only cos of my private degree (at least they are upfront) but years down the road will catch up according to them. Heck, I don’t even have a local dip to begin with lol, so very likely sure stuck at somewhere even if capable. Just stay private bah dude seriously

No choice lor, I accepted it and moved on. But funny thing is after a year I ended up in a SB with doubled pay.

Ministry usually strict, want local degree, only some private degree recognised. But stat board easier to get in with private degree.
