I remember in 2014 only mid-level MX scheme officers got the adjustment.

Hopefully anyone who has insights, esp HR, can share here!

Just curious, does anyone happens to know that what’s LTA scheme? I know it’s LTE. but does it relate to any of the scheme mentioned above that will have adjustments to their salary?

So far, LTA had been following PSD adjustment, bonuses, recommendations, etc.

The Singapore Public Service employs about 153,000 public officers working in 16 Ministries and more than 50 Statutory Boards. Within the Public Service is the Civil Service, comprising about 87,000 officers working in the Ministries and Organs of State. They work in various schemes of service, including the Administrative Service, legal, education, police, civil defence as well as other generic schemes.

Statutory boards (such as HDB, CPF Board, IRAS, etc) have their own recruitment and human resource management policies. They are legally distinct and independent employers from the Civil Service.

The article said 23k public officers' salaries on generic schemes will be adjusted.

With the above, there are 87k in civil service and according to budget 2022, there are almost 33k officers under the education scheme and about 27k officers under home team schemes...

Hence 87k- 33k(MOE) - 27k(MHA) = 27k (generic + Admin, Legal, MFA, Econs)

Seems about right for all to be adjusted.....

Good analysis. Plus, the way it is written in the news articles - "officers in the MX scheme...will receive salary adjustments" - seems to imply that *all* officers in these schemes will get the adjustment.

Seems like sour grapes reply to me.. Even stat board will have la.. Pity mx people, lowly paid compared to stat board people..

So how they determine who gets how much % increment? Issit the higher rank u are, the lower % u get?

MX 9
MX 10
MX 11a
MX11
MX12
MX13
MX13i
MX14
MX15
MX16

MX 9 to MX 11a gets 5%?
MX12 and MX13 gets 7%?
MX 13i and MX14 gets 9%?
MX15 and MX16 gets 10%?

I remember back in 2014, the lower rank only gets 5% increment. Meanwhile those higher rank gets more than 5%
