I've gotten 3.8k. How come got people got higher offers at 4.2k and 4.5k lol

Working world is like that.
Everyone second guessing their salary.
Everyone assumed their boss pay is 3x more but do 3x less.

I thought its 4.5k?
How come revert back to the old 3.8k?

3.8k is outdated.
In the last its 3.8k cause it meets the employment pass requirement for min salary.
This program might also take in foreign student.

So upon graduation, they have to turn in their student pass for an employment pass.
And for an employment pass to be approved, applicants need to command 4.5k.

This rule change, is an act of protectionism to prevent company from hiring cheaper foreigners since local are asking so much. As a result.. Foreign talent now bet higher pay while local still get their usual low salary.

So yep, chances are 3.8k are for local.
4.5k is for those top student fch who worried can't get PR or employment pass upon graduation.

So the exception made for them..
