Thank you! Do you know what are the chances of converting to perm and if entitled to MI/PB or promotion as contract staff?

Verbal offer to Official Offer - Success rates

Hi, I have seen many post on verbal offers being offered and applicants waiting for confirmation.
What is usually the success rate of conversion from verbal to final confirmed offer?
Has anyone had their verbal offer get rejected or didn’t make it to the final offer?

Thanks in advance

Which position are you applying for and for which SB or Min?

How is the hiring process like for LTA? Is it relatively easier to get in compared to other SBs such as EDB and STB?

Also, is it true that both LTA and HDB have high turnover rates compared to other SBs?

LTA and HDB both employs quite a significant number of people compared to smaller statboard like WSG etc so how do you define turnover rate? The number of people leaving an organisation at one time? It should be calculate against the total number of employees they have in the org. Certain positions may have high turnover rate due to the nature of the job and stress. Some people just couldn’t get used to (eg. dealing with residents whining everyday on top of your hectic paperwork)

In short, there will always be people leaving the org. How u define turnover rate may defer unless u work for the HR in either of these SB who can provide u with the most accurate results. If you personally have friends working in LTA/HDB or always hear many people who left their job in LTA/HDB, then your perception might be skewed to think that there is a high turnover rate in the org. This may not be true because there are more workers in both of these SB and therefore will have more chance to encounter friends or friends of friends who worked and left. Not sure if u see my point.

Endure a few years? Rofl sinkies like you are the reason why our working life gets worst every year. If there are bad behaviours at work just speak up la. You will just diam diam and tahan it for a few years? That is rewarding bad behaviour isnt it?
