Appreciate if those already waiting 2 months or more can share whether it is for MINDEF/Defence related organisations or others. I am wondering if clearance by MSD takes longer than ISD.

Is it advisable to apply for the same job a few months down the road when the first application is unsuccessful?

Got offered in the end but It was quite a long wait.
I applied since late June / early July (1st week)

Appointment / contract signing was suppose to be end Nov but I nego with hr to bring it forward cause its gonna be another wait after that.

Estimated total journey till working will be around 6 months.......

Good luck people.
It really depends they process ur clearance after ur interview or before ur interview.
For mine it's before. That's why I am lucky with a 3 month wait only.
Because my colleague waited 8 months for his cat 1 to start work.

Hi did vital contact you or the cs/sb HR called you? And is your signing physical or through online means?

Hr contact first with offer letter. 2 year contract is the norm I guess?
Once accept then they write email say pass over to vital

Then vital contact to do appointment formalities but due to covid its online.
I Haven do it yet so not sure online like what. If done I update again.

Anyways is it me or why is Cs lowballing now.
I took a big paycut to join but now want stability better, see private fire left right center I scared.

The HR told you they did clearance for you before your interview? The HR in charge of me did not tell me when they applied the clearance for me though :( I assumed it’s after the second interview. Or should I start counting from the day I submitted all the necessary forms for screening (before interview)?
