so cannot really compare cos their spending power is higher than most of us.

MOM shud have stricter control over msians working in sg.
it kind of ruined the labor market for locals.

malaysians are doing the jobs sgreans dont want to do. like coffeeshop cooks, hairdressers, and audit n accounting included

sgreans are moving up the value chain to better jobs

exactly as planned

Considering that it’s 1 Jul, any updates on the Big 4’s pay? Preferably from Senior year 1 to Manager level.

No change from previous year for my firm, grade-to-grade

The truth is the payscale has remained relatively fixed for many many years and it's only recent years that started to be revised... some of the kids seem to have the impression this is an annual thing?

be thankful that the 'kids' are expecting changes that you oldies never bothered pushing for. It is only true dissatisfaction at the ground that will shake things up. You think big4 can get away with shitty pay reviews from now on? One wrong move and the whole bunch of seniors will just leave. Be thankful for these 'kids'
