Only heard that recently the bonus for top grades get higher. The rest will get much lower than before to incentivize people to fight for top grade more.

No! as long as you are still in office on the bonus issuing day, you will get full bonus. If you leave the company next day, they won't take a cent back.

According to Staff Handbook, you are only entitled to bonus should you quit after payout. So to be safe is quit on 21 March earliest.

I bet a lot of people quitting on 21 March 🫢

very easy. agitate him until he use offensive/abusive language, then report him/her HR.

e.g. when he scold you, cut and paste a very nicely worded ChatGPT generated tldr motherhood statement on how getting aggressive will early die from heart attack or stroke.

Unregistered 01-03-2024 12:08 PM

Any idea this year bonus and increment?

Very very and very common. You should feedback to HR so that you will be sure that resign is the only choice. Then, move on and find angmoh MNC with good culture. Eventually, sinkies are still chinese culture and ST is just another Chinaman company.

Need to check the HR policy on whistleblow. If you have witnesses better to go in a strung of straws than a single person's effort to report.

But on other hand if RO request work to be done, then most likely can't find fault with him. If his attitude is not showing respect to his subordinates. If escalated, I think he may get a talk from his boss. Don't think will get him into a big trouble.

Alternatively, if you all have "comrades spirit", maybe a mass activation of the termination trigger button will sure scare the sh*t off this RO pants.

If you are in STESU Staff Union, this is also an avenue to check with them what can Union help?

s://.stesuunion.com/members-benefits

Either way going to HR or Union or other ways, there bound to have some recessions. Not perfect solution.

When can one resign from ST Engineering to safely collect bonus : if the bonus payout is on 20th march - 1st April or 20th march?
Working at ST engineering where the year ends in December and bonus paid on march pay cycle and increment in July.

Unregistered 03-03-2024 03:16 PM

Best time to resign to collect bonus from ST in 2024 - march 20th or April 1st

Best is to resign few weeks or 1 month after bonus is paid out...

By right after 20th March bonus is paid, u can resign and there's no clawback of bonus...

Actually it's a very sad thing. China can do a lot better than us, including systems integration. We are only translator and sticker paster nia. And some of the better 'translators' are PRCs or Taiwanese.

When joined before 30 Nov, bonus is prorated. Likely less than a month.

Join before 30 Nov, bonus will be pro-rated as per the number of working days worked over the number of working days in the year.
