I find the overall package is rather mediocre but I heard it is a good place for retirement and I am few years away from my 50s so want to "settle down" so to speak. I heard ST environment quite relax one? I'm willing to trade off my future potential for this iron rice bowl.

Curious if anyone know if I work here till I am in my late 50s, will I have any shot of being promoted to M4? I am leaning towards accepting this offer due to stability offered. Should I counteroffer slightly higher? Anyone know the range for M3?

Hi, is your role in technical or commercial?

9.2k per month is fair for the relaxed life there.

You insider? Can give some details as to what kind of life to expect in there for mid-senior staff? Im assuming due to the nature of this "relaxed" job I will have no chance of moving to M4 or higher. A bit sad not gonna lie I was hoping to be senior mgmt one day.

Quite low. I know M3 is 15k.
Plus now no more 2 to 3 months annual bonus.
This year wage also freeze. You're probably replacing some M3 who quit.
So most likely you're tole is just to fight fire and clean up the mess.

Due to covid. Alot of M3 and M4 are made redundant

1 Year contract Fresh graduate

Got offer 1 year contract...4.5k (So high wtf...so tempting), E5 position. It was supposed to be 4k ish but after i said i had a few interviews so they bump it up. Is politics so toxic? Can't imagine people so bad. Currently, unlikely to extend or convert to full time.

Got another offer from other company...3.7k full time.

i would say take the 4.5k offer first, if you dont like it there, leave within 1 year. You will get a better negotiating power due to your last drawn in your next job. your next best offer is 3.7k.

Thank for the info. I understand this 2-3 years may be difficult but I am satisfied with the current offer and I think I will accept it today. If others getting 15k basic then I think my current salary will have room to grow in the coming years. Glad to see im not at the salary ceiling yet. I am going into electronics, you in what segment and are you M3/M4 also ?
