My side and department is is heavily technical base. But no need engineering skill and only leadership skills and manager skills is important for promotions leh

Are you new hire M2? I know of a M2 who has worked for 15 years taking 5.3k but there is a fresh grad E5 this year taking 4.8k, same department

To the point that E5 can earn more than E6?
Then the E5 should be promoted la.
