is it true ST paying $5.5k with aws for SWE fresh grads with 1 YOE?

if true, really good deal vs next door NCS, tiagong only 4.8k with no aws

why ppl complaining ST?

ST does not provide AWS, but the salary for fresh grad does hit around 6k or more than that due to not many people wanna join to tarnish their resume. You go in but learn bad habits so ends up bleaker prospect. Aim for promotion within ST is pretty futile too as the top managements are reserved for ex cs and the middle managements for scholars.

Some people cannot get into ST and get jealous of those who can get in.

ST does not have recruitment issues as they have many joining regularly.

It depends. Some may be ex-SAF personnel who have bad reps.

ST will check with their contacts to check on the potential job applicants.

If the SAF cannot get them to work, ST is unlikely to perform miracles.

Jealous of joining ST? Like jealous of getting third class? How could "many joining regularly" without high turnover rate? If high turnover rate then how is there is no recruitment issues? You working as E4 and dream big? Btw, not many joining ST with Singapore having so many MNC :(

ST personnel are not immortal, some retire and business expands.

If you are not working, it is sad.

So many have joined ST and it's many associated companies.

High turnover rate within 1-2 years is always mentioned in every town hall.
If you could only work in ST, it is really sad.

High turnover is good. More jobs to apply.

It is more sad to be unemployed.

Share price is not an issue as I got no money to play shares.
