I'm band 1 with 3.6, coming from a r&d department that is burning money.

They get on Service Anniversary Date only. But I heard this year outsource bonus 2-3 months also.

How come the bonus is different across BU?
Last time the bonus was 2 to 3 months.
But during covid era got salary adjustment. Base salary got higher but bonus was rescued.

The senior management told us that.
And he also mentioned that bonus will look lesser now.
Instead of 2-3 months big bonus.
It became 1-2 months bonus.

I asked around my colleahues
Most also just ranging between 1 month to 1.5 months.

Seems like different BU has different bonus.
How come can like that?

And also each "company" has their own HR. I don't think the bonus payout is standardised across the ST Engineering.

Either alot of fake post here. Or some company division play dirty.

Well, I'm from cyber team, from defence to commerical proj. BU is making money that's why a b2 - good rating 3.5. Definitely some will say it's BS, but every infra we close.. we make millions. So long we have a tech on our hand, this industry won't die.

Truth is, it carries the same logic in any industry.

Gotta angkat boleh to boss, client. Sabo your competitor. Silent work = No effort, things cannot be seen cannot get its recognition. Make ppl work for you, claim the credit. It's just corporate world logic. Anywhere also same.

Jan increment only for those E4 and below iirc... if your basic not that high 3.5 month bonus is for your own survival only. Nothing to brag about.

When i was interviewed by the HR, the HR told me smelly smelly bonus is 2months-2.5months

Oklor. Recently i received my bonus. It is only 1x bonus.
Then im like wtf...

Initially my performance assessment was 'good contributor'.

Then i go check audit performance assessment. saw HR marked me down to 'contributor'.
I screenshotted the audit screenshot and emailed the HR department.
They say will get back to me.

Can like that 1 ah?

i think your HR added all bonuses into their estimate, not just the PB...probably included mid year, year end, AWS and whatever allowances available...

STE no such nice stuff for bonueses etc. Just 1 x "Productive Bonus"
